In the south of the Sarthe, in the middle of the valley of the dormouse, between Ruillé on Dormouse and Lhomme, the vineyard of Jasnières is presented at you.
Developed by the monks cistercians in the Middle Ages, celebrated by Henri IV and finely inventoried under Louis XIV, the vineyard knows a qualitative revival doubled of a deep renewed interest of the public since the years 1970.
Its remarkable exposure on very sunny slopes and its ground rich in flint, confer on Jasnières all its specificity.
Young AOC created in 1937, this name extends on a surface from 61ha.
Installed since 1992 in Ruillé on dormouse, I exploit 10ha vines which are located on the communes of Ruillé on Loir and Lhomme.
